Rose Day

This is a major fundraiser for the Chester Kiwanis. Members sell roses to members of the community until November 11. Distribution is on November 26th. Purchase of roses is an excellent way to remember special people at Thanksgiving.

Toyland Project

Boxes are placed around the Town and Village of Chester to collect toys for those in need. Gently used clothing is also requested. Parents can come to the school on December 20th to choose 2 toys per child. Key and Builder's club members wrap the gifts if the parents wish. Members should be available to help set up the toys and clothing and assist the parents.

Holiday Party

The Holiday party allows us to join together to celebrate the holiday season. Dinner will be served buffet style with dessert and unlimited coffee, tea and soda. Members are asked to bring a canned good for the Chester Food Pantry or to contribute to the Food Pantry to allow them to purchase the food. Cost for the dinner is $31.00. Reservations are required by Decmber 10th.

Kiwanis Follies

The tentative date for the Follies is April 25, 2009. The follies will focus on the mustic and stars of the 1930s and 1940s. This includes skits from Abbott and Costello, Jack Benny, etc. and music by the Andrew Sisters and others. We are looking for acts to perform in this presentation.
