Serving the Children of the World

Welcome to the Kiwanis Club of Chester. We are 41 members of the community, dedicated to "serving the children of the world."

We have been in Chester since 1975 and in recent years have supported numerous area agencies including the Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, and have provided numersous scholarships to graduating students from Chester Academy and John S. Burke High School. We hold a Kids Day and sponsor the annual Halloween Parade. We provide Emergency Room bags to Orange Regional Center's Arden Hill Campus which contain activities for children awaiting services at the hospital.

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers, dedicated to changing the world, one child and one community at a time. The Chester Kiwanis Yard Sale in conjunction with the Chester Presbyterian Church is staffed by unpaid Kiwanis members and volunteers. The Chester 5K Race is part of the Hudson Valley Grand Circuit and the proceeds from these projects support our activities within the county and around the world.
