Welcome to the Kiwanis Club of Chester. We are 45 members of the community, dedicated to "serving the children of the world."

  The Chester Kiwanis Club has been active since 1975. Over the years we have been involved in numerous projects which have proven to be of benefit to members of the community from the youngest to the oldest. We have stepped forward when the need arose and have helped: individuals and families. One of our most important projects was the Chester Kiwanis Remembrance Memorial in memory of all of those who were called from this earth on 9/11/01. In recent years have supported numerous area agencies including the Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, and have provided numerous scholarships to graduating students from Chester Academy and John S. Burke High School. We hold a Kids Day and sponsor a project at the holiday time where we make toys and clothing available for the less fortunate in our community. We provide Emergency Room bags to Orange Regional Center's Arden Hill Campus which contain activities for children awaiting services at the hospital.

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers, dedicated to changing the world, one child and one community at a time.  The Chester 5K Race is part of the Hudson Valley Grand Circuit and the proceeds from these projects support our activities within the county and around the world.
